My shoutout: "I'm tired!!!"

My heart cries and tears drop. I feel a voice in me shouting out I really really need You!!I need to ride on your grace and be filled with new strength.

It's only a few days but I felt that I already can't breathe. I dread the hustle and bustle, all I want is to escape into Your presence where I could be still and know that You're my God!! I want your presence, one which is filled with love, peace and great comfort.

No doubt I begin to feel that fear of stepping into an unfamiliar ground arising in me once again. I feel so powerless and unconfident of myself. Lord, can you please fill me with godly confidence, the confidence to know that You're my Jehovah Jireh and You will provide all that is needed to fight in this battlefield that you've placed me in. I recognise that I'm nothing without You and can never continue walking without You. You've always been all that I relied upon.

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel says:
"Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved.
In quietness and confidence is your strength...

..."Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name; you are mine.
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown.

See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.

I bought this pair of blades last year hoping that I would get to blade during my holidays. However, it only made its first journey at Bedok Reservoir today. It travelled for about 4 km.

I am still trying to adapt to this pair of blades. Guess I haven't blade for a long time and I'm still having a bit of phobia with speed. Hopefully as time passes, I would overcome my fear and get better in blading.

Thank God for the good weather and protection through my blading session.:)

Oh yah, this pair of blades is a blessing from the Lord!!

With the budget in mind,I asked for a beginner's blades. Yet with the same price I got a more professional pair due to the 30% sale at skateline. I never use guards whenever I blade. However, with this pair of blades I felt that I needed protection. Later did I realised that the full set of guards are on 50% discount and I bought them too.

Indeed God is able to do abundantly and exceedingly above all I could ask or think!

What more could I do but to thank God for granting the desires of my heart!!

After coming back only at wee hours in the morning, I only woke up at 12pm. I didn't do much but was reading a book then had dinner. The best part was having able to meet a friend and watch Night at the Museum. Actually we were supposed to catch a show about few weeks back but when we arrived at the cineplex, the tickets were sold out. Being smarter, the tickets were booked beforehand this time round. However,we arrived late and the tickets booked were released. Nevertheless, thank God for not too bad seats given to us although they ain't his desired ones. The show had some humour and i enjoyed it. Oh ya, i bumped into Mingwei at the cineplex. Heee...I made him blushed!!:P One thing i don't deny, he's more shuai now. :P

Initially I planned to turn in early this night but then i felt hungry after the show. We dropped by simpang bedok but was too crowded. Then he suggested airport but later Mac Cafe at east coast. I told him that i had mac these days and he made a left turn to Changi Village even when he dread going there due to the long journey. He's sweet, I would say. :P

Walked down the row of shophouses and ended up eating and having a drink at subway. We had small talks. Actually there are things I just don't agree with him spiritually and wish I could tell him. Yet I kept quiet and let him do the talking. Guess the talks only got lighter on our way home and make me feel more comfortable. Maybe it's just me!! I'm more vocal virtually than physically.

As usual,he's a gentleman. Each time he would park his car and want to send me to my doorsteps as it's late. Usually I would turn him down and he only pressed my lift button and see me into the lift. This time I allowed him to send me up but only to the 11th level. I'm just impressed by his act of services and his protection.

Overall, a very good time spent with someone always so sweet!! It's just a rare chance to catch up before our term starts.

*Geylang Park Connector*
Just like last year, I went to watch fireworks. However, this time I went to geylang park connector instead of the esplanade in order to avoid crowds. The fireworks was way too short and of course I couldn't get to hear the music or see the fireworks synchronising with the music. I guess what took our attention was the army flare that was released into the sky when the fireworks first started off.

*Cousin Terence & Me*
Every time when I go and watch the fireworks, I would hope that standing beside me would be my special half but this time I went with cousin Terence, Lijun, Terence, Guohong and Kaishen. Just going to pray that by this year end, there will be someone special who would be by my side to usher in the next year.

Nevertheless, the fellowship was great!! Of course, with an incident that happened in guohong's car which cost us time to do some cleaning up. Guess who's the culprit?? I have a gut feeling that it's me!! Although the rest said that it's a shared effort in causing the spilling of one cup of medium coke in guohong's car. Seriously, thank God for shared effort in cleaning up and the patience and even-temper of guohong. :P

I bought some sparkles and we recaptured our childhood by playing with them. I guess the person who enjoyed it most was, Terence. I meant Terence and not cousin Terence.

Then, having convoys after the fireworks in order to head for supper. Of course, there was some losing sight of each other and having to meet up at a familiar spot. I enjoyed being a passenger especially when it was accompanied with the Jazz music by Norah Jones. The Jazzy feel and the scenic routes made my night cosy and warm. Nevertheless, both guohong and kaishen are good drivers. Thank God for the two of them being our chauffeurs, else this whole gathering would not even be convenient or possible.

It was simply a good night of ushering the new year and getting to know each other better. :) Thanks guys for your companionship and the fun and laughter injected into this 1st day of the year.

Let's look forward to a great year, 2007!! Somehow, I believe that it's going to be a wonderful one where when we look back at the end of 2007, we will be greatly in awe!!
