ThE BeAtiTuDeS

I was on course yesterday so everything ended early and I met up with a friend of about 10 years. It was really a good catching up after 3 months of busyness and unable to find a common slot to meet up. We went to Sim Lim for a while and had some fun there playing with the gadgets. Later on, he decided that he wants to catch a movie so we headed for cineleisure. We initially wanted to catch the show 'Love Wretched' but arriving there we realised that it was not available for screening yet. So he suggested watching 'The Devil Wears Prada' and he was walking ahead of me wanting to purchase the tickets. However, to my surprise a guy asked if i wanted free ticket and he gave me one complimentary ticket. So i called out to him and the guy saw him, so he gave me another one. Then, he disappeared before i could say 'Thanks'. I was totally caught off guard and lost of words. It was simply a great blessing!! After the show, we went for dinner at East Coast. Although the owner had changed, the japanese food was not too bad. Oh yah, he paid for my dinner. Another blessing!! God's good!! We had a good time and in fact quality time too. Thank God for time like this where we could catch up. I tend to appreciate such time more. Especially ever since i grow older, where i've got lesser time and where all of us have moved on to different stages of life.
