Truly at a loss about what to do about her family and her husband, Joan confides her troubles to a waiter, who happens to be God in disguise. The above was what he spoke to her and enlightened her especially coz she did pray that she wants love and unity in the family.
God indeed works in a very different way. He does not give us what we ask for in a direct manner but creates opportunity to mould us to be who He wants us to be. Indeed, what we ask for we will receive it! But of course, not according to how we think but thru' His thoughts.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
