ThE BeAtiTuDeS

DC called to ask if I want anything from HK again but each time I would turn him down. I guess he's really very sweet. The times that we were together for abt 3 years, he would surprise me with lotsa bouquet of flowers, soft toys and other beautiful gifts. Back then, the flowers would fill my refrigerator till my dad complains.

When he was in NS and I was in University, we drifted away as we barely have time for each other. He's either too tired on weekends or i'm too busy with my projects. Of course, insecurity arises since I was in University too. We separated because I didn't want a long distance relationship as he has to go to Melbourne to obtain his degree. Yet, we had a mutual break up, without hurting each other and thats why till now we are still good friends.

To date, 5 years have passed. When I suddenly look back, I realised that both of us have really changed alot: Personality, character, looks, mindset, interest, dreams, visions... that we both felt that we don't really know each other or clique that well.

But one thing that doesn't change is his kind and loving character.

Remembered times when he was in Melbourne, he would send packages full of surprises back. Yet the one that I remembered most was the graduation bear that he personalised for my graduation. :) Times he went for holidays with family and short business trips, he would always bring something back for me too.
