High Tea

I met up with a few of my colleagues today for High Tea @ Intercontinental Hotel. It's supposed to be a Tai Tai outing. I guess it's a gal's desire to have the ability to become a Tai Tai one day. But, I don't think i'm suited for it. The food was not too bad but I ate really little coz of my weak stomach and appetite. The seats were pretty comfy. Actually it is a nice and romantic place to hang out for a drink in the night, accompanied with live jazz music.

Conversations were wacky, funny and informative.
Amongst them, I'm the youngest and all of them are either married and pregnant or getting married soon.

So being with them all these months aid me to learn more about marriage, pregnancy, parenting and housing. Also, about what kinda guys to look for, a good husband I suppose. :p They have got a good life with good and loving husbands. They have a beautiful love story and of course they had their fair share of differences to work on to make their story beautiful.

Apart from these, I've also learnt how to be a better teacher as they're really experienced ones. Nevertheless, they are great people to work with. That is because they are very responsible and capable so it makes working life less miserable.

I guess, I also appreciate and treasure their friendship alot. They tend to shower care and concern on me, especially asking me to eat in school. Sometimes, they would go the extra mile to buy snacks for tea-break. There are many more things that they have done which touches my heart alot. Thanks so much!! I also think that it's often tough to have friends who would understand the life of a teacher unless the person is also a teacher. :P Thanks for sharing my woes at times. :)

Lately, I think i'm looking at the good things that God has place in my life and giving thanks to Him more than before. Maybe it's a time where i've got time to reflect on my life. :)

I believe that there are more good things to come before 2007 comes to an end. I want to trust that this year will be a great year for me. It's not how I started it but how I end it. Four more months to go....:)
Hopefully,
