God often does not need to use people who have capabilities but people who are available and commited to Him. However, if we are given the capabilities after the commitment we make to Him and we do not have the drive to maximise it to its potential then we will not be able to live out the ultimate will that God has in plan for us.

Remy has the capabilities and he was willing to go all out to attain his dream. Although he would not be recognised, he did not bury his talents. Even when his close ones did not believe in him, he kept pressing on. He chose to take a positive perspective rather than a negative one.

Linguini was also a guy who was humble. He did not take credit for things that were not his. Although Colette left, she came back later to support Linguini. I suppose that was love as she chose to stay by him in times when he needs her most.

Remy's family also came to support him, after they have a comprehensive view of what was going on. Good communication is indeed important. The way the rats worked together were also worth commending. Each single one was important and unity was needed if they want to achieve a goal together.

During a crisis, one would be so nervous and could not even think with a clear mind. However, Remy was able to remain calm and make good plans and decisions. He also did not compromise in any manner to achieve his needs, as he sterilised all the rats before allowing them to be part of the team.

It also took an encounter to change someone. Anton Ego was probably someone who has hidden issues, that caused him to be a critic who is cynical. Yet a dish, ratatouille opened up the knots in his heart. It changed him and allow him to be one who learn to be kind with words and actions which explains for the final review he made.

Speaking the truth caused Ego to lose his credibility and job and the restaurant to be shut down. Yet they did not wallow in pity but opened a new bistro -Ratatouille. That brought happiness to everyone. A sweet ending. :) When a door closes, another will be open. It just depends on whether you are willing to seek the door.
