What am I doing?

I bought this book yesterday, and since then i'm so glued to it. It's a very good read although it's more meant for a guy. It helps me to understand better how a man of God would be like. If a man changes, the entire family will be blessed. It also allows me to read about the miracles that God could do for marriages which are broken if there is repentance, how restoration could be made when the love of God starts to outpour in that family. Alot boils down to commitment and being in partnership with God.

I remembered that day I had a talk with ws after cell and we concluded that those who are saved by God are new creations in Christ and we are entitled to the good things that God has in plan for us. However, it would take us to be the ones who break generation curses so that for generations to come including ours, we will start receiving the blessings from God. If we can't do anything to help break the curse in the previous generation, we must at least break it in our own generation.

Maybe I tried too hard to fix things in my parents' generation but to no avail. So, I can only hope that I will break the curse through my generation.

Things I told myself to try to do:

• Not to become bitter but forgive and forget.
• Let the love of God overtake me and be a vessel of love.
• Say and do things that I meant and not out of anger.
• Communicate instead of bottling all feelings.
• Be kind with words even when I am hurt.
• Speak the right love language.
• Put myself in other peoples' shoes.

I guess the list goes on....

It's time to sit down and flip through the science textbook so that I can start setting my exam paper. Focus!!!

I may have only an hour to sit down to do a bit of work. Got to go and meet lijun at 6pm to buy her bible then for dinner at Orchard. Our CG is no longer at McNeil but at Orchard. This week I am on holiday so I can afford to take the MRT to go for CG and yet not be late. Looks like next week onwards I would have to rush after my work and have to pay more as I have to take a cab there in order to be on time. I must create a new budget for transport.

Gota go and mug on my science textbook... Sounds like i'm back to the life of a student, preparing for exams....not to sit for it but to set a paper for it...
